There is a great sense of unease among immigrants in general and women in particular in New Jersey after nearly eight years of the Christie Administration and the increasing hostility of a national government led by a president that centered his campaign on rooting out immigrants he identified as “drug dealers and rapists.” In an effort to address the mounting challenges faced by immigrant women, and specifically Latinas, the Community Affairs Resource Center of Monmouth County and the Latino Action Network Foundation convened a Roundtable on June 23, 2017.
